I’m 16 years old have been doing blacksmithing for a year now; I’ve done a few courses and things such as welding course and a weekend course. ive got my own facilities and trying to do as much as I can when I’m not a school. Hot Iron is a bespoke blacksmithing company. I currently design and manufacture forged bespoke items such as gates, jewellery and hooks. I have completed a level 2 City & Guilds welding course and have been lucky enough to have work experience with an artist blacksmith and also a weekend course at the famous Quinell forge. I currently have my forge, anvil and equipment in my father’s workshop. I already have a trading record in the last 4 months of 8 sales building reputation by word of mouth and on social networks, word has spread and I have satisfied customers in the UK, Spain and USA.
