Back in 1997 is where Art Fabrications began. Company Director/Founder Andrew Langley studied Fine Art at college and University and found his passion for working with metal. After working on Sculptures in London he decided to take the leap and start his own business back home in the Midlands.
His hardwork, attention to detail, and determination to be the best in the business has seen the business grow over the years.
As an artist Andy and the Art Fabs team are passionate about delivering work of superior quality, which is demonstrated in their portfolio of works across the world.

**Hello Hammersmiths! I have a lot of experience in the cultivation of artistic hand forging and related professions. The demand conditions in Hungary are dire, so I am looking for international opportunities to practice my professional vocation.
Since I communicate in several languages, I thought that I would like to join all kinds of projects, anywhere in Western Europe, or I would also take on contract work in my own workshop.
I am open to all kinds of opportunities, both short and long term.
Look for me!
I have several years of experience in the field of metal processing. I have developed my skills from metalworking to art, I work with corten steel, one of my specialties is rusting and patination of surfaces, then passivation. I made funeral monuments, grave crosses, grace objects and religious jewelry. I have invented a process that creates a glassy transparent coating on the surface of metals while preserving the original beauty of the material. You can see my outdoor works and creations in Hungary.
At the end of my CV you can see a small part of my portfolio.
Some of my work can be viewed here: https://www.facebook.com/ironartist.richardlaszlo
Of course, I also work in related professions, such as locksmith, machinist,
Welding, but I also designed and made my own glass accessories (Fusing technique). I also have experience in metal restoration.
I designed and built metalworking machines (Ajax hammers, induction heaters, various coating equipment, tempering furnaces, metal cleaning equipment, etc.)
I traveled a lot around the world, got to know different cultures.
I have organized numerous exhibitions and presentations at home and abroad.
I also speak English, Italian, Hebrew and Spanish.
Hot forging is at the core of what I do at Bringsty. I will design and make items to commission, for galleries, exhibitions and demonstrations. I will also repair and restore existing and historical ironwork, and make items to a client’s specification. The process of producing bespoke ironwork to suit the site and client is what I enjoy. Taking a client’s vision for an empty space, and realising their vision by guiding them through the possibilities and practicalities that hot forging, traditional and contemporary techniques can bring to items of originality and longevity.
Architectural wrought iron and designers of new and contemporary styles of forged metalwork all made using traditional blacksmithing techniques and jointing methods.
Donkeywell Forge is a traditional blacksmiths forge on the outskirts of Cirencester, Gloucestershire. We produce traditional and contemporary ironwork working with all forms of metal including true wrought iron, mild steel, bronze, copper, stainless steel and corten. We have traditional coke fired forges along with large gas powered forges and power hammer facilities which allows us to specialise in the use and principles of heritage materials and styles including fire welding. This all sits alongside modern workshop facilities and machinery. We hope the pictures of the work on our website say more about us than pages of text as we would rather be making than writing about it! If you would like to talk to us regarding any future projects please do not hesitate to get in touch.
The new workshop is now situated in the rural outskirts of Darlington and Northallerton, in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, with all our work carried out at the forge being hand crafted. The business has now been trading since 2003 and the team of blacksmiths are able to cater for various demands within the private and the pubic sectors both domestic and commercial.
Adrian Wood is a university graduate with a degree in fine art sculpture from The University of London. A chance visit to a forge gave Adrian Wood his first taste of blacksmithing. He recalls; ”From the first moment I hit the hot steel I knew what I wanted to do.”
Adrian`s first job was at a renowned workshop near York where he worked on a number of prestigious projects. After which he worked for Brian Russell, widely regarded as one of the finest blacksmiths in the UK. Brian’s approach and processes to creating bespoke and uniquely designed metalwork had an enormous effect on the designs and processes created by Adrian Wood Artist Blacksmiths.
Traditional blacksmithing techniques are used to create contemporary and innovative ways to fulfil the client’s needs. The designs are beautifully hand drawn with delicate attention given to the smallest of details, resulting in fine craftsmanship, superb detailing and a substantial build quality that reflects a belief in a lasting beauty and quality.
Adrian’s area of expertise lies in his ability to understand the client’s needs and provide detailed drawings and finally to create the work to a high standard and build quality.
Sam draws with steel, using heat and hammers. Her inspiration comes from the black, sweeping lines of Art Nouveau illustrations, and the structured organic forms of plant life and the natural world.

Combining original contemporary design and high quality craftsmanship James creates work that is firmly rooted in the present.
In contrast to much ironwork James’s work is characterised by clean lines and considered details. A passion for craftsmanship and an inherent appreciation of forged metal are themes that run throughout his work.
Working mainly with hot forged mild steel he is equally at home with a range of materials including forged stainless steel and bronze.
James and his team work for a wide range of clients, from architects and designers to private individuals. The work is equally diverse ranging from large scale public art to smaller interior pieces. We love considered design, exceptional craftsmanship and a keen attention to detail.

The Thirsty Bear Blacksmithing Company is an artistic metalworking studio using the ancient art of blacksmithing to create contemporary and traditional metalwork that blows people’s minds. It is run by artist blacksmith Jake Bowers. It’s called Thirsty Bear Blacksmithing Company because I work very hard, am partial to a berry or two and have a few cubs to feed.
Using a coke-fired forge, where steel bars are heated and then forged over an anvil, I can guarantee that all products have the individual touch of a craftsman. We’re big enough to cope with any job but small enough to guarantee the kind of attention to detail that you should expect from an expert craftman.
Jake graduated with a triple distinction Extended diploma in Blacksmithing and Metalwork from Plumpton College and trained as a silversmith at Helliden’s Folkhogskola in Sweden in 1998. He also holds a journeyman’s certificate from Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths founded in 1299.
On this website you’ll see galleries of my completed work and works in progress. I produce everything from traditional wrought iron gates in steel to jewellery in precious metals for a variety of public and private clients. I also use this website to share what we’re up to with our latest commissions with our customers.
The Thirsty Bear Forge has been a member of Checkatrade, Britain’s premier source of vetted, reputable tradespeople since July 2014, which means you can independently verify what previous customers have said about our work. It’s a hard won reputation I guard very passionately and think about every time I start a piece of work.
Fantastic Factory Studio is sited in Ripoll, SPAIN. We also offer our products online and accept custom requests.
Our local classes (8 pax) are offered weekly in our workshop, we are just 1 hour away from Barcelona so we encourage you to join anytime to enjoy a plentiful experience if you plan a visit to Barcelona. It’s a one-day thing, no experience requested. You will forge a beautiful piece of art, medieval weaponry or Bushcraft.
Our tourist packs are offered in groups of 4-8 people, we teach you some basics on blacksmithing and you will be guided to forge a Knife or an Axe in 10 hours. You can take a look at our website and contact directly to me by email or phone or Whatsapp +34678730334 Henry

I am a contemporary Coppersmith who occasionally works with steel. My introduction to blacksmithing was through becoming a metalsmith in the REME in 1979. I am now a full time sculptor who loves to look at what others are making to spark new ideas. Please get in touch if you need anything from me.
